Hair Cuttery - Get a Brand New Look For a Brand New You With a Hair Cuttery CouponAre you thinking of getting a stylish, new ''do"? If you think your current hairstyle is boring the life out of you, then perhaps it's time to spice things up a little. Want a star-worthy style that won't leave you penniless? With a Hair Cuttery Coupon, you can get the look you want for a lot, lot less!

Growing up, going to the salon was a treat. As a child, my mother would cut our hair because salons at the time were so pricey. Because my mom wasn't a professional stylist (obviously), my haircuts were always neat and sensible - not exactly hip and happening.

Nowadays, there are a lot of salons that offer cheap hair services. You don't have to shell out a lot of money to get a professional to cut and style your hair. In fact, as technology continues to make things easier for everyone - even hair-wise - salon prices have gone down considerably.

A couple of months ago, I felt the need to recreate myself. I felt like I had outgrown the old me and needed to express the "new" me. And what better way to do this, I thought, then getting a brand new, spanking hairstyle?

Because I'm not exactly overflowing with money to spend on expensive haircuts, I got myself a Hair Cuttery coupon online. I simply got it from their website. And boy, am I glad I did that. Now, I'm sporting a glam, layered look and even got red highlights! And the best thing? I didn't have to worry about the cost.

Hairstyles for Round Faces - Celeb

Hairstyles for Round Faces - Celeb
Hairstyles for Round Faces - CelebMany people search for years for the perfect hairstyle only to be disappointed time and time again. This is because of their lack of knowledge about hairstyling. The most basic thing before you get a hairCUT is to know the shape of your face - round, oval, diamond, long, heart or square.

Once you know the shape of your face the hairstyle can be handled accordingly. If you have a round face then your face will have almost the same width as the length. You will also have fullness at and below your cheekbones. Due to their round face people generally have wide hairlines. They have less-pronounced chins and along with this their necks often seem short.

The other things that should be taken under consideration are the length of your hair, the texture and weight of your hair, your age and even your lifestyle requirements.

Once all these things are noted there are some basic pointers that a person with round face needs to follow so as to have the best hairstyle. These are as follows:

1. The people with round faces need to have layered bangs if they want any. Straight and heavy bangs should be avoided as they make the face look more round.

2. As far as possible you should stick to short styles which provide height.

3. In general you should look for styles that add length to your look.

4. Stick to the styles which have the sides of your hair short or which keep your hair close to face.

5. If you have curly hair then you should try having curls around the crown. This will provide height to your face. However, make sure that the curls are never near your cheeks. Also sure the sides of your hair are short with curls.

6. Concentrate on longer to very long styles so that the roundness is not that clearly visible and along with this you can try layers. It will make your face and neck look sleek which is required.Hairstyles for Round Faces - Celeb

Avoid having blunt ends near your cheeks as it ads width to your face. People with round face should avoid having bob CUTs as they frequently emphasize cheeks. Use what you have to the maximum.

Dividing the hairCUTs under three basic categories there are certain Do's and Don'ts:

Short hairstyles for a round face:
THE RIGHT CUT: The short hairstyle adds height to the face and it appears longer than usual. Getting a short hairCUT one adds to the height of the face and not the width. Make sure that you don't have bulging sides in a short hairCUT.

THE WRONG CUT: In a short hairCUT, the full heavy bangs make your face look shorter and should be avoided. The sides of your hair should not kick out else it will again provide width to the face.

Medium length hairstyles for a round face:
THE RIGHT CUT: In this hairstyle if no bangs are used then it will reveal more forehead and thus will create an illusion of a longer shape which will look good. If you have a hairCUT where the sides can be pulled back, behind the ears, it will bring a slim look to the face and give it an oval shape. Make sure that you make an off center part as it will divide your face unevenly which will make it appear longer rather than wider.

THE WRONG CUT: Avoid having bangs in this style as it will shorten the face and add to it hair that flips out at chin length. This will only increase the roundness and the width of the face. Even though this kind of hairstyle is trendy, it's not a good choice for anyone with a round shape face.Hairstyles for Round Faces - Celeb

Long hairstyles for a round face:
THE RIGHT CUT: in this kind for hairstyling a softly layered look can look terrific along with a center partition that will divide the face into two longer sections. Avoid using bangs even here. Straightening the hairstyle would be even better as it will give a slimmer look.

THE WRONG CUT: Generally with long hair, the simple look is the best as described above. Bangs will again cover up the face and forehead making the style totally unsuitable for you. Always remember pairing a round hairstyle with a round face shape will not work for any length of hair.Hairstyles for Round Faces - Celeb

Get a style which you will enjoy. There is absolutely no point in having a hair CUT that you cannot maintain or is unnatural to you. And of course, to make any hairstyle look good, confidence is a must!

Medium or long CUT with layered bangs

Instead of opting for a hair CUT with straight, heavy or no bangs at all, the best hair style for round face that you should go for is one with layered bangs. Whether you have medium-length or long hair, the layered CUT on the bangs will draw the attention upwards, giving your rounded face more depth.

Long hair with the part centered

If you don't want to sport bangs at all, the best hair styles for round faces that you can go for is one which reaches well beyond your shoulders, and is parted at the center. The center partition will frame and elongate your face a bit more. You can wear this in an ultra-straight, sleek style, wavy or curly.Hairstyles for Round Faces - Celeb

The Bob

Whether it's the Rihanna bob, the Victoria Beckham bob or an updated, layered bob, this design for round faces is a great way to also elongate and frame your round-shaped face. Plus, there's a bonus of your looking like a celebrity, so why would you not go for it?

At the end of the day, choosing among the many
hair styles for round faces that you can select from is all a matter of deciding what looks good and you, and which hair style you feel that you look your best in. As long as you consider the shape of your face in choosing the hair style to update your look with, you'll be all set.Hairstyles for Round Faces - Celeb

Hairstyles for Thinning hair - Top 10 Natural Hair Care Tips For Thinning Hair

Men suffer from thinning hair and like women, and benefit with short hair cuts or styles. Two obvious choices are the crew cuts and the buzz cuts, which are very similar to each other but are successful in disguising thinning hair . Another method in making thin hair a lot less evident is hair coloring. Hair that is lighter in color, such as blond, light brown tones and even gray hair make thin hair appear fuller than it actually is. Yet another option is to go bald, which has gained immense popularity in the last 20 years or so.

One of the main complaints when it comes to men's hair care is thin hair due to hair loss. But there are plenty of natural ways for men to plump up thinning hair , without resorting to the style travesties of plugs or comb overs. Here are the top 10 tips for plumping up thinning hair naturally.

1. Ask your stylist to give you a volume enhancing cut which minimizes any bald areas and helps to create a fuller look naturally. A good stylist will be able create a smart look which gives you the ability to plump the hair after each wash. They may also suggest some high quality salon hair products to create the look you are after. If you can afford them then this is usually a good investment.

2. Try a volume enhancing shampoo and try not to use heavy or moisturising shampoos as these can weigh down the hair , making it look thinner. Ideally, choose salon products or other high quality hair care products, these have superior ingredients which will not build up residue on the hair as some cheaper products can.

3. Finish your wash with a blast of very cold water. This may seem a little uncomfortable at first, but it only needs to be for a few seconds, to cover the hair , and it will help to increase shine and fullness.

4. When drying the hair , treat it carefully. Blot the hair dry instead of rubbing, as rough treatment can speed up hair loss.

5. Try a volume root enhancer - there are lots of hair care products on the market which can do this, again, salon products usually give better results due to their higher quality ingredients.

6. To blow dry, separate the hair into 1-2 inch sections. Lift each section using a barrel brush and blow dry from the roots to the ends to ruffle the cuticle, giving a fuller appearance.

7. A more unusual hair care tip is to try blow drying upside down. While this tip is not for everyone, it can encourage the hair to move away from a flat position on the head, giving a fuller appearance.

8. Blow dry with cold air on a slow setting. This can take longer to complete but will help give a more finished and full look.

9. Use your fingers to style your hair . This is a handy hair care tip for thinning hair because using a brush or comb can unintentionally flatten the hair and deflate the full look. If after all your hard work the hair style looks too fluffy, put some hair spray onto your fingers for styling and pick out lightly apply to some strands. Don't put the spray directly onto the hair as this can flatten it.

10. Try not to use hair gels as these can flatten the hair . If you must use some, choose a volume enhancing gel designed to increase fullness.

Hair Extensions

Hair Extensions

Hair ExtensionsWho gets hair extensions? What are hair extensions, methods, etc.? When can you get hair extensions? Where do you get hair extensions? Why would you get hair extensions? And perhaps the biggest question....How are they attached?

A good place to start is explaining what hair extensions are all about. In a society where immediate results are very popular, the beauty industry has developed and improved the ancient technique of adding human or synthetic hair to your own hair and making it look like it grew out of your own head.

We say 'ancient' because people have been doing this since forever, with wigs, hairpieces, weaves and such. Many of today's methods have been adapted from African-American stylists that weave human or synthetic hair into corn rows for a long, flowing and natural look.

So who gets hair extensions? Many celebrities get hair extensions for various movie roles. The celebrity factor is what has catapulted the popularity of hair extensions over the last 5 years. When you see magazine covers with famous actors having long, flowing natural looking long hair, you begin to think that maybe you could get the same look. Once thought as a rich person's service, hair extensions have become much more affordable and even practical for everyday consumers.

The main reason for getting hair extensions is to add length to your hair style, although they can be used to thicken your hair or even add highlights. Hair extension expert Rod Sickler, Owner of Images by Rod & Company in Rantoul Illinois says, "Don't limit yourself to just adding length to your hair. Hair extensions offer a simple solution to fine hair and can add a little pizzazz to thick, curly or wavy hair in any color or style."

"Any hair type can support hair extensions", says Sickler. Sickler makes hair extensions easy by creating cutting-edge hair styles for his clients. Some examples include sleek and straight hair, vivacious ringlets and striking color enhancements with the use of different highlighted and lowlighted hair extensions. He describes the hair extension process as very painstaking and challenging as it requires many hours and various techniques to complete. The rewards are many as he is able to re-invent hair, tweak techniques and fulfill his clients' needs.

How to Use Hair Extensions

Hair ExtensionsFor some of you, the need for hair extensions will be apparent if you are suffering from hair thinning or hair loss. For others, the need of hair extensions will be to add some length or volume to your existing hair. Then of course, there are those who simply want to change their look. The question you will all be asking, is how do you use hair extensions? Well, the purpose of this article is to answer that very question.

Hair extensions exist to add length and volume to natural hair. The extensions can come from natural sources such as the highly praised Indian Remy hair, or they can be produced from synthetic materials. Fortunately for us, there are a wide variety of colors, lengths and textures so you don't have to be concerned about finding the perfect match.

Synthetic hair can be made from materials such as silk, silicone and polyester. They are in most cases a lot cheaper than the human hair alternatives - but the downside is they do also look 'cheap'. The other downside to synthetic is that they can not be styled using heating tools such as straightening irons as they will melt! Furthermore, they have a tendency for frequent tangling and frizz. If, on the other hand,
your intention is simply to wear for one night or as an experimentation then synthetic hair extensions are perfectly fine to use.

Real human hair tends to come from Asia, India and East Europe. There is plenty of human hair available and it can be processed to meet your requirements. Virgin hair is when it has not been processed in any way and is regarded as the highest quality and standard of human hair.

So, referring back to our question of how to use them - it depends largely on which method of application you wish to use. The method of application also depends on whether you are after a temporary set of extensions or a more permanent one. Below are some of the more common methods of applying hair extensions:

Clip-On Hair Extensions
To apply clip-on hair extensions, first separate the hair at the back by using a comb to draw a horizontal line from the top of one ear to the other. Clip the hair that is above the line out of the way. Now you can clip in the extensions across the full width of the back of your head. Release the hair from above and draw a new line about an inch above the last. Repeat the process, adding the extensions in so that they are not visible from beneath the natural hair.

Glue-In Hair Extensions
Divide the hair as you would with the previous method. The length of the weft should be a tad shorter than the width of your head from ear to ear. Carefully apply the glue provided over the length of the weft and wait a short time until it goes tacky. Now you can place it onto the hair at the divide line but make sure the glue doesn't make contact with the skin. Use a hairdryer to fully dry off the glue.

Hair Extensions

Hair Fusion Extensions
Once more, section the hair as you would have with the other two methods. Work through the hair taking small sections at a time to match the width of the extension. Attach the extension near to the root of the strand and use the heating tool to fuse them together.

In my experience, unless you are using clip-on extensions or you are a professional - you should go to a salon to get more difficult hair extensions put in - at least for the first few times to see how it is done correctly.
